IoD launches search for Chartered Director Ambassadors
The IoD has launched a search for Chartered Directors to become Ambassadors for its Leicestershire and South East Midlands branches.
Chartered Director Ambassadors are members who have achieved the Chartered Director qualification and are passionate about professional development and building the next generation of skilled leaders.
IoD Ambassadors ensure that everything the IoD does places the member first. They enable greater connectivity with members, support and guide peer to peer discussion and learning and development while giving a local voice and presence to the Institute.
They are the means by which IoD national policy reflects local issues and can be contextualised locally.
Ambassadors provide thought leadership, support and guidance on their area of expertise. They also contribute to a programme of relevant and engaging events to inspire and connect members.
If you are a pragmatic Chartered Director who is tuned into local issues, these are great opportunities to be the ‘voice’ of the IoD for your area. In return, there are fantastic opportunities to grow your network and influence the operation of the IoD branch.
Interested candidates should send their CV and covering letter to cari.grice@iod.com
