Improving governance through stakeholder dialogue
The IoD Centre for Corporate Governance was established in 2020 to explore current issues in corporate governance, company stewardship and ESG – for the benefit of the business community and wider society.

Explore
The Centre explores current issues in corporate governance, company stewardship and ESG. Its scope encompasses both private sector enterprises and organisations in the public/not-for-profit sectors.
Convene
The Centre brings together stakeholders who might normally address governance issues within their separate professional silos. These include board members, investors, academics and NGOs.
Contribute
The Centre helps fulfil the IoD’s Royal Charter obligation to “promote the study, research and development of the law and practice of corporate governance”.
