Tell government what you think.
Policy Voice is a monthly survey of IoD members who share their views on current business issues, providing statistical evidence and anecdotal detail on the issues that matter to business.
How we use Policy Voice
We use Policy Voice to collect and share evidence around key issues that affect our members, including in the routine conversations we have with government. The data is also regularly reported in national newspapers.
These are just a few of the ways that we have recently used Policy Voice:

Detailed economic tracker data provided to Treasury and Labour economics teams in August ‘22
Data on business confidence and investment intentions used in July' 22 appearance on BBC Radio 4's Today programme
Sources of low business confidence provided in-person to then-Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi during July ’22 meeting
Data on inflation expectations used as basis for FT article – ‘BoE under pressure as UK companies plan for extended period of inflation’
Data used as evidence for calls to make capital investment super-deduction permanent, as covered in The Times
