IoD Scotland
A community for directors across Scotland
Across Scotland, directors are navigating an increasingly complex business landscape, making local connections and high-impact professional development more important than ever. The IoD in Scotland brings together leaders with all levels of experience, connecting and representing them through professional networks, events and professional development opportunities.
IoD Scotland is proud to support our business leaders to drive long-term success and contribute to a thriving national economy – providing the insights, connections and advocacy they need and championing directors’ priorities and representing their voices nationally.

IoD Scotland Manifesto 2026
We’ve launched our 2026 manifesto – a strategic vision for Scotland’s economy shaped by extensive engagement with our members, policy ambassadors, and committees across the country.
It addresses shared business challenges – from skills and taxation to infrastructure, rural development, and competitiveness – and outlines how government, business, and the third sector can work together for meaningful change.
Grounded in evidence, collaboration, and ambition, our manifesto sets out how Scotland can create the conditions for long-term success.
