Renewing lapsed membership
You can renew your membership via your MyIoD dashboard. If the renewal link is not showing for you, please contact [email protected] and we can send you a new link by email. Alternatively, if you’d like to renew over the phone, please call +44 (0)20 3855 4308.
Please note if you have opted to auto-renew your membership, you will not need to use a renewal link, your membership will renew automatically. You’ll receive email notifications prior to your renewal. If you need to update your email address, please contact us.

Update your payment details
If you are paying by continuous payment authority, you can update your card details through the ‘Update Payment Details’ section of your MyIoD portal.
For those paying by direct debit, if you are the sole signatory of the account, you can call +44 (0)20 3855 4308 to tell us your new details. For accounts not in your name, or that require multiple signatures, please complete our Direct Debit Mandate and post this to:

Upgrading your membership
For active members wishing to upgrade their membership, please contact us on +44 (0)20 3855 4308 or [email protected].
If your membership has lapsed, you can rejoin on your chosen membership tier by completing the relevant application on our joining page. Please ensure that you use the email address that is already registered with us to ensure your membership links to your existing record.
Cancel membership auto-renew
As outlined on our online joining and renewal applications, both our direct debit and continuous payment authority payment methods auto-renew by default.
You can cancel this auto-renewal at any time by contacting us at [email protected] and asking for this to be switched off.
