IoD Scotland Manifesto 2026
We’ve launched our 2026 manifesto – a strategic vision for Scotland’s economy shaped by extensive engagement with our members, policy ambassadors, and committees across the country.
It addresses shared business challenges – from skills and taxation to infrastructure, rural development, and competitiveness – and outlines how government, business, and the third sector can work together for meaningful change.
Grounded in evidence, collaboration, and ambition, our manifesto sets out how Scotland can create the conditions for long-term success.

IoD Scotland Director of the Year Awards 2025 Winners
IoD Scotland revealed the winners of its Director of the Year Awards 2025 during a ceremony hosted by Stephen Jardine on 9 October at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow.
The awards were a great afternoon of recognising directors who have gone above and beyond to navigate and support their organisations. It was a great day of celebration and a huge congratulations to all the winners.
By engaging across our communities – and helping to influence policy and practice – we can ensure Scotland is a great place to work, live and thrive.
