IoD Lancashire | Fun in the workplace

01 Oct 2019
East Lancs Chamber of Commerce , Clayton-le-Moors
Studies have proven fun in the workplace increases employee engagement, increases productivity, reduces absences and sickness. Generally speaking, most people would rather spend time with their family and friends than be at work, however, there’s no need for work days to be all doom and gloom. Investing time and effort into making your workplace a more enjoyable place to be can have tangible positive benefits for employees, client base, and your wider organisation.

Six key reasons why fun is the future of work:

1. Happy employees are healthier
2. Having fun improves communication and collaboration
3. Fun breeds creativity
4. Promoting fun attracts an audience
5. Having fun makes employees more productive
6. Having fun encourages advocacy

Come and listen to our 3 experts share their experiences on the impact a fun working environment can have on your bottom line and why fun should be part of your business strategy.
