Could you be an IoD North East ambassador?
IoD North East (North) is on the lookout for new Ambassadors to lead the region’s director community.
IoD Ambassadors ensure that everything we do places the member first. They enable greater connectivity, create influence and drive professional development opportunities while giving the Institute its all-important local voice.
Each Ambassador leads on a sector or portfolio area that best aligns with their personal expertise. We are currently looking for experts to represent the following areas:
- Sustainability
- Digital and Creative
- Education and Skills
- Health and Life Sciences
Applicants should be IoD members with demonstrable personal skills in leadership along with plenty of passion and energy! We welcome applications from directors of all ages and backgrounds.
In return, we offer fantastic opportunities to grow your connections and profile while playing an important role in influencing branch operations.

The North East (North) branch supports directors in the Newcastle and Tyne area and is part of the wider IoD Yorkshire and North East region.
