IoD appoints Faisal Khan as South Chair
We are pleased to announce that Faisal Khan has been appointed as Regional Chair for the South.
Faisal succeeds Alex Pratt (who has completed his three-year term) in this influential role.
Faisal is an IBM trained professional having been a Companies House director and IoD member since 1990. He is highly experienced in business development from start-ups to scale-ups and to mature enterprises operating in the UK and globally.
He is a career entrepreneurial technologist, with a determined and persuasive style and has chaired tech companies, non-tech companies and not for profit organisations, thereby providing leadership to harness the skills of talented teams in achieving challenging goals.
He is passionate about the impact of disruptive change and the consequential need for an ethical framework of good governance at both business and societal levels to protect deeply held values of freedom, diversity, equal access to opportunity and trust.
“As an IoD member of 30 years I am thrilled to now be in a position to give back and serve all our members in the South.
Individually, as companies and as an institute we are experiencing a point of great inflexion in history, calling upon the strength of our fellowship, humanity, rationality and ingenuity.
With our Royal Charter, mission, vision and values of integrity and enterprise, the IoD is so well placed to influence the unstable world we live in and I look forward to working enthusiastically with all members to leverage this opportunity.
I would like to personally thank Alex for his outstanding contribution to IoD South and the transformation he has led” – Faisal Khan.
