IoD Social Media Prize Draw

  • Promoter: The Institute of Directors (“IoD”), 116 Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 5ED. Contact details: [email protected].
  • Eligibility: Entrants must be aged 18 or over and live in the United Kingdom. Employees of the IoD, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the prize draw are excluded.
  • Entry Method: To enter the prize draw, participants must comment on the social media posts asking ‘What IoD institution is coming back in 2025?’ and share their thoughts. Entries can be made between 25/12/2024 and 15/01/2025 to be included in the prize draw.  Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will not be entered into the prize draw. No purchase is necessary. Internet access and a live/valid LinkedIn, Facebook and/or Instagram account are required.
  • Prize: Three prizes will be awarded. Each prize will consist of one copy of ‘The Longevity Imperative’ by Andrew J. Scott and one copy of ‘The Algorithm’ by Hilke Schellman.
  • Claim Period: The winners will be announced on 16/01/2025 and the prizes will have to be claimed by 31/01/2025. Whilst all reasonable steps will be taken to contact the winner, if this cannot be achieved within a further seven (7) working days and after three attempts, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve winner who will be drawn at the same time as the original winner. If the reserve winner does not respond within 28 days of being notified and after three attempts, the prize entitlement will be withdrawn, and the prize removed from the promotion.

  • Publicity: By entering, winners agree to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the prize draw, which may include their name and location being announced on the IoD’s website and social media channels.
  • Data Protection: Personal data will be used solely for administering the prize draw and will not be shared with third parties except where necessary for prize fulfilment.   • General: The IoD’s decisions about this prize draw are final and binding. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. By entering, you accept these terms and conditions. A copy of these full terms and conditions is available upon request by contacting [email protected]. The IoD reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on the IoD’s website. If the prize draw cannot be run as planned due to unforeseen circumstances, the IoD reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw. The IoD will not (without limitation) be responsible for any losses that were not foreseeable to the IoD and/or entrant at the time of entry or which are caused by a third party.
