Tell us about Your career to date
From working as Marketing Manager on world renowned musicals such as Priscilla Queen of The Desert, Tap Dogs and Matthew Bourne Swan Lake in Italy and Dubai, to managing a music and digital company discovering up and coming artists around the world and creating a development path for them working alongside Universal, Disney, Ministry of Sound and many established international artists, to working in business development in Hotelplan Tour Operator my career is a combination of challenges, passion, determination and new ideas. In 2017 I set up my own company offering a new solution for the traveller that is tired of cliche itineraries and big guided tours but who prefers bespoke experiences that make you explore the real London through cultural wellbeing, music and responsible tourism.

As Founder and Director of Unexpected London I run the business, look after business strategy, marketing, press and business development.
What are your business objectives?
Expand the business by hiring new “unexpected guides” and start planning for an International expansion.
Why did you join the IoD?
I joined IoD as I saw it as a great opportunity to expand my network, get guidance on how to best manage my business and to feel part of a strong community of successful directors and entrepreneurs with whom to exchange ideas, get inspired and collaborate.
What are your objectives within your IoD Ambassador role?
As Chair of the Tourism and Hospitality Special Interest Group my aim is to create a strong community where business leaders working in Tourism and Hospitality can get together, discuss and collaborate with the aim of becoming one of the strongest communities in the sector thanks to the support of IoD and the connection to business leaders from other sectors too. A neutral platform where we organize recurrent events on important and controversial topics, with engaging and interactive panel discussions at exclusive locations, where everyone has a voice and we can offer concrete and actual solutions. On top of this we will also organize networking evenings at IoD where members can get together and get to know each other in a chilled and relaxed atmosphere.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love travelling, exploring London, walking, going to the theatre and dance.
