Letters of appointment for non-executive directors
Confirmation of the arrangements agreed with a non-executive director (NED) may take the form of a letter or it can be in a standard written agreement with the names and addresses of the parties set out at the beginning of the document in the usual way.
Whichever style is used, provision should be made for signature for and on behalf of both parties. The following core information will usually need to be included.
