Help shape the future of business leadership across the city of London
The IoD is seeking an outstanding business leader to join us as Region Chair for London. This prestigious volunteer role calls for an inspiring, influential leader to represent directors and strengthen the IoD’s value and support across the region’s business community.
As Region Chair, you will be the public face of the IoD in London, championing our members, influencing policy, and helping to strengthen the region’s representation.
The role
You will:
- Represent the IoD across the region, acting as a leading ambassador for responsible, inclusive and sustainable business leadership, and supporting the hosting and delivery of high-quality IoD events that engage and connect the regional business community.
- Champion the voice of directors, feeding regional priorities into national policy and advocacy work.
- Lead and support the regional leadership, helping to shape priorities, programmes and engagement activity.
- Strengthen member engagement, ensuring the IoD delivers value to directors at every stage of their journey.
- Build influential relationships with stakeholders including local government, business groups, academia and the media.
- Promote excellence in leadership and governance, aligned with the IoD’s Royal Charter.
This is a high-profile, strategic role with the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the business ecosystem of London.
