IoD strengthens team with appointment of Jas Gill
The Institute of Directors (IoD) has boosted its North East (South) leadership team with the appointment of Jas Gill as an ambassador.
Jas is managing director of care home provider Hadrian Healthcare which offers luxury accommodation and high quality individual care for older people.
He is also managing director of MCM Group, a privately-owned property investment and development company based in the North East. The group holds property assets across the commercial and residential sectors and continues to expand its portfolio.
Jas was previously a senior partner at Yorkshire Bank in Newcastle where he specialised in healthcare. He lives in Teesside.
IoD ambassadors ensure that everything the IoD does places the member first. They drive connections between members, help them to influence government and promote professional development while giving a local voice to the Institute.
Jas said: “I am looking forward to being a key part of the local IoD and contributing my time and experience, both to help directors reach their full potential and to raise the profile of the Tees Valley business community. By working together to build connections and influence, we can build an exciting and prosperous future for this dynamic and diverse part of the country.”
Karl Pemberton, chair of IoD North East (South), added: “Jas shares my passion for the region and its business community. As we start to enjoy face-to-face meetings and events once again, I’m looking forward to working alongside Jas and spreading that enthusiasm.
“We are looking for more branch ambassadors, so if you are passionate about business and keen to build your profile as a leading voice for the IoD, we would love to hear from you.”
