face to face event

A welcome return to face to face events

Our return to small, exclusive, in-person events and meetings provides a welcome opportunity to rebuild relationships and create new connections.

We understand that everyone feels differently about meetings and events and that social distancing remains important to some of you. That’s why we took the decision to start off with small events.

It has been fantastic reconnecting with many of you over the last few months; the feedback proves that you have appreciated the ‘social’ aspect again.

Our summer ‘Netwalks’ proved to be a great opportunity to take a break from our screens, offices and home working environments. We hope to hold more of these events, which involve a scenic stroll in the North York Moors or along the coast followed by a bite to eat.

We also hosted an exceptional morning Behind the Scenes at Teesside Airport, which offered a fascinating insight into the airport’s growth and the future of business travel.

We also heard from the fantastic digital marketing coach Simon Clayton at Visualsoft in Stockton.

Thank you to all that attended, including many new members to the Institute.

We have also been busy making arrangements for upcoming events, so do keep an eye on our events calendar for further information.

Our events are also posted and shared via our social media channels on LinkedIn and Twitter, so do give them a follow if you’re on there and join the discussion.

Should you have any ideas of future events, or would be interested in hosting or speaking, please do let me know. We are always open to new ideas.

As well as those events held in our local area, don’t forget that you can also attend events anywhere in the country by joining online. View and book events.

I am so happy to be able to step out from video meetings into the real world once again, and I hope you are too. It is the fantastic people of the Tees Valley and surrounding area that make this branch so special. We are stronger together!
