IoD North Wales Winter Lunch Expands to Wynnstay Arms, Ruabon, with Guest Speakers from Welsh Football

The Institute of Directors (IoD) is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated North Wales Winter Lunch, taking place at a brand-new, larger venue this year—the historic Wynnstay Arms in Ruabon.

This year’s event promises to be bigger than ever before, providing an unparalleled opportunity for directors, business leaders, and entrepreneurs to connect and exchange ideas in a setting designed to accommodate a growing business community.

The Winter Lunch will feature two exceptional guest speakers from the world of Welsh football: Noel Mooney, CEO of the Football Association of Wales (FAW), and Kelly Davies, Chair of the Cymru Football Foundation and award-winning social entrepreneur. These two inspiring leaders will offer unique insights into the connection of sports leadership, social impact, and business innovation, making this a must-attend event for anyone interested in leadership, sports, and societal change.

Jo Price, Nations Manager at IoD Wales, expressed her excitement about the event’s expansion and its new location:

“We are absolutely delighted to be hosting the IoD North Wales Winter Lunch at Wynnstay Arms this year, a larger venue that reflects the increasing demand for this event. The combination of Noel Mooney and Kelly Davies as guest speakers will bring a fresh perspective to leadership and innovation, making this our biggest and most exciting Winter Lunch in North Wales yet.”
