Speakers
Kelly Davies
Kelly Davies is an award-winning business leader and social entrepreneur with extensive experience in the sports industry and social impact ventures.
Currently, Kelly serves as the UK Director of Everyone a Changemaker at Ashoka, the world’s largest network of social entrepreneurs. In this role, Kelly is part of Ashoka’s Global Leadership Team, empowering changemakers across sectors such as healthcare, education, climate change, technology, business and sports. Under her leadership, Ashoka supports the founders of innovative impact organisations with both financial backing and strategic guidance through a global fellowship spanning 96 countries.
Previously, Kelly co-founded The Good Wash Company, a Welsh social enterprise that was recognized as Welsh Start-Up of the Year and achieved rapid growth under her leadership. Kelly successfully exited the company in 2021, after which she was named Great British Entrepreneur of the Year.
Kelly also founded and led Vi-Ability, an award-winning social enterprise that used football as a platform to engage disenfranchised young people. Her leadership at Vi-Ability helped influence sports policy and contributed to tackling social issues such as homelessness and re-offending.
In addition to her executive roles, Kelly has held several non-executive positions, including chairing the Social Business Wales board and serving on advisory boards for various organisations. She is currently the Chair of the Cymru Football Foundation, overseeing a £10 million annual investment in football facilities across Wales on behalf of the FAW.
Kelly’s passion for sport, social impact, and innovation has led her to become a recognized figure in the field, receiving numerous awards, including the UK Prime Minister’s Big Society Award and Ashoka’s Global Fellow recognition.
Noel Mooney
Former League of Ireland goalkeeper Noel Mooney is chief executive of the Football Association of Wales (FAW). Prior to this appointment, Mooney spent 10 years with UEFA, most recently as head of national associations business development, having previously held roles in marketing after joining from the Football Association of Ireland.
