How would you describe your business to a total stranger?
A charity/social enterprise which exists to help people to change their lives and be the best they can be. We work mainly with the homeless, ex-offenders and anyone suffering from food poverty.

What do you do outside work? (hobbies/interests):
Love the outdoors and enjoy getting out walking and cycling. Keeping as fit as I can. Being a taxi for my children.

3 years or so

To access some of the courses.

The courses and the potential for networking
How would you describe your branch area to a total stranger?
Lancashire is a hidden gem. Simple as that.
What is the most important issue for the government to tackle?
The NHS. It is utterly broken and there are good people fighting to do a good job every day in almost impossible circumstances.
Looking back, what advice would you give yourself when you started out in business?
Don’t worry about things you have no influence over. Spend your time on things you can directly or indirectly affect.
What do you hope to be doing in 10 years’ time?
Semi-retired but doing some non-exec and trustee stuff.
