International Women’s Day
Over 60 members of the local business community gathered for a celebratory lunch in recognition of International Women’s Day on Friday 8th March.
#inspireinclusion was the global theme for this year; creating a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.
Pam Watson, IoD Isle of Man host had the pleasure of welcoming Abby Kimber, Director of Operations, Digital Isle of Man, as speaker for the event.
Abby engaged the audience by discussing her career journey, those professionals who have inspired her and the importance of seeking and taking opportunity.
Abby was passionate about encouraging leaders to acknowledge team contributions, and the importance of embracing diversity and adapting leadership style to work with your surroundings.
IoD Isle of Man were pleased to support local charity ‘Love Tech’ at the event by hosting a small raffle.
