Meet your Cambridgeshire Inclusion and Diversity ambassador Linda Doe
Get to know your Inclusion and Diversity ambassador in Cambridgeshire.
Name: Linda Doe
Position/company: Apana Business Psychology Ltd
Describe your current role/company: I am the Managing Director and I lead a team of coaches and consultants. We are experts in people and specialise in the pragmatic application of proper psychology in the world of business.
Previous roles: I have been a consultant business psychologist and executive coach for 25 years. Previously I worked as a full-time expert witness, a manager in NHS primary care, a mental health psychologist and a disability services lead in local government
Other information: I am the Chair of a community well-being hub, a consultant to a local business group and have a private practice in holistic psychology. I am qualified as a yoga teacher, so East meets West in my practice.
Outside work (hobbies/interests): I swim in my local river and choppy seas whatever the weather. I practice meditation to keep me sane and focussed – and stop me exploding too often with my two almost grown up young adults. I am a musician and one of a duo you might find somewhere on Tik-Tok. I can cook just about anything and love a glass of wine.

If you could give one message to the Prime Minister, what would it be? Nothing you could possibly share!
What are you most looking forward to in the next 12 months? Growing the business again with the benefit of having taken some strategic and productive down time
Looking back, what advice would you give yourself when you started out in business? Don’t beat yourself up over the events of the world that you have no control over (2009 recession, recent pandemic) and keep diversifying, enjoying what you do and learn to laugh even more.
