Mark Hedley - Head of High Growth Markets, City of London Corporation
Mark Hedley is Head of High Growth Markets at City of London Corporation. Mark currently leads the City of London Corporation’s work across the China/Hong Kong, India, Gulf and ASEAN markets.
Mark has two decades’ experience working in trade and investment promotion and consultancy roles, in both public and private sector roles. He previously worked as Deputy-Head of InvestHK (UK), promoting FDI into Hong Kong, and as a Director at the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), promoting bilateral trade between the UK and China. He has spent several years in private sector consulting roles, advising multinationals and scale-up firms on Asia-Pacific market expansion.
Mark is a fluent Mandarin speaker, having previously spent 7 years living in Mainland China. He holds an MSc in Chinese and International Business from the University of Sheffield and an Executive MBA from Lancaster University.
