IoD West Midlands Magazine - Summer 2019

We are delighted to announce the Summer edition of the IoD West Midlands quarterly magazine in which we congratulate the 2019 Director of the Year, Dr Julian Turner and this year's remarkable category winners and welcome Dean Kavanagh as the new Coventry and Warwickshire Branch Chair. Mayor Andy Street discusses how local industrial strategy is driving growth in the West Mids and we also have a first-look at the incredible Caudwell Centre; Britain's first independent, purpose built centre, dedicated to people with autism and their families. Additionally in this issue, the IoD Chartered Director programme celebrates its 20th birthday and the IoD Mentoring scheme, in collaboration with the University of Wolverhampton and Coventry University, reaches its 10th birthday and continues to go from strength to strength, having supported over 400 students.
