In 2023, whilst policy moved in some unexpected directions, we sought to influence government on a range of issues on behalf of IoD members and achieved some notable successes.
2024 will be the first time that more than half of the world’s population is going to the polls in a single year, and the outcome of many of them will have significant implications for the business environments.
In light of this, the IoD’s Policy and Governance Unit is today publishing an ‘Annual Policy Review’.
This paper reviews the business policy developments of 2023 and spotlights some of the ‘high impact’ risks facing UK business in the year ahead.
