The global race for a sustainable future is a central priority for the IoD and its members.
Business is an important driving force in the race to net zero, and we are pleased to support Directors in adopting sustainable policies, raising awareness, and spreading valuable knowledge.
We encourage all members to visit the SME Climate hub, an initiative which is committed to supporting SMEs reach net zero by 2050, and halving greenhouse gases by 2030. Their website boasts a comprehensive database of useful tools and resources including guides, case studies, webinars, and reports. Partnering with multinational corporations, they create clear incentives and opportunities for SMEs.
At the IoD, we are also very dedicated to our own sustainability journey. We proudly back the Race to Zero Campaign, as well as working to reduce our own Carbon Footprint on an ongoing basis. Our events and webinars are designed to enhance knowledge about exactly how businesses can contribute to positive change, and amplify vital messages. We are excited to be launching courses and CPD sessions later in 2021.
