IoD launches search for South Yorkshire ambassadors
IoD South Yorkshire is on the lookout for new Ambassadors to lead the county’s economic recovery.
We are particularly interested in hearing from directors who can join the team and offer a fresh perspective on the issues that matter most to directors.
IoD Ambassadors ensure that everything the IoD does places the member first. They enable greater connectivity, create influence and drive professional development opportunities while giving a local voice to the Institute.
Each Ambassador leads on a sector or portfolio area that best aligns with their personal expertise.
Victoria Brown, chair, IoD South Yorkshire, said: “This is a great opportunity to build connections and shape the directors’ agenda in South Yorkshire.
“We encourage applicants from across the spectrum of directors, in order to truly reflect our county’s diverse mix of public, private and third sector leaders.
“If you are passionate about business, these voluntary positions are great opportunities to build your profile and be a leading voice for the IoD.”
Applicants should be IoD members with demonstrable personal skills in business leadership with passion and energy. In return, there are fantastic opportunities to grow your network and influence IoD operations.
