Celebration of mentoring programme success at Coventry University

The Institute of Directors (IoD) celebrated the success of its mentoring programme at Coventry University with a graduation ceremony hosted by associate head of school Jane Sanderson.

The mentoring programme is led by IoD members and is designed to empower students in their personal development and professional growth by helping to identify and achieve individual and career goals.

The 16-week programme runs three times a year and new mentors are now being sought for the University’s next programme which will run between January-April 2023. Subsequent mentoring programmes will run between May-August and September-December. Mentors can choose to participate on a rolling basis or for a particular semester.

Each programme is structured so that mentors and mentees have four one-to-one sessions of between 30 minutes and one hour, either face to face or online.

“We are delighted to be working with the University and look forward to the continued success of the mentoring programme. The involvement of our latest IoD graduate cohort proved invaluable for the mentees and it was refreshing to hear their comments and observe their growth. We look forward to working with Jane Sanderson and her team with the next cohort.”
