IoD Launches search for West Wales Regional Chair

IoD Wales is now actively recruiting a new Regional Chair to lead the West Wales region. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of ambassadors in developing the membership body for the region

This is a voluntary position and is open to IoD members who live or work in the area. As a Regional Chair you will support the IoD’s work in connecting and developing directors to support their own and their business activities.

You will work as part of the wider Wales team alongside three other regional chairs in supporting the National chair role.  Working with a team of ambassadors you will engage with and add value to members, whilst representing and amplifying the views and experiences of local directors within the IoD’s influential Policy Voice programme.

If you would like more details about the role and the responsibilities of becoming a Regional Chair, please contact [email protected] to have an initial conversation.

There are plans for several events across the West Wales region and the new Regional Chairs will have a key involvement in these.

The new chair will take over the reins from current chair, Nicola John, MD at FDM, whose term comes to an end shortly and has held the position for the last three years.  Thank you to Nicola for her support and commitment over the last three years.

Interested candidates should send their CV and covering letter to [email protected] by 31st May 2026. Interviews will take place in the following weeks and the role will begin in July.
