Name: Dr Isaac Enakimio

Position/company: CEO and Portfolio Director, Knowledge Incorporated Ltd

How would you describe your business to a total stranger?

Knowledge Incorporated delivers high-level project, programme and portfolio management. I write winning business cases, set up and lead remote PMOs, and bring clarity to delivery for non-project managers. When the stakes are high and the outcomes matter, I’m the one that ensures projects move from plan to performance.

Your previous roles:

Over the past 15 years, I’ve directed digital transformation portfolios across healthcare, public and not-for-profit sectors, leading enterprise-scale rollouts, securing national funding and embedding governance into delivery. I’ve managed over £50m in project value, with a focus on measurable benefit, risk control and technology adoption.

Other information (e.g. other positions held, charity roles):

I work with delivery teams, boards and public bodies that need expert direction on major initiatives. My consultancy enables organisations to move faster, deliver better and report outcomes with confidence.

What do you do outside work? (Hobbies/interests):

I enjoy cooking, some me time and fantasy series. Staying curious about systems, strategy and infrastructure. Anything that works well, I want to know how it was built.

How long have you been an IoD member?

About a year

Why did you join the IoD?

To stay close to serious conversations about performance, delivery and enterprise. The IoD gives me access to leaders who understand that strategy is nothing without execution.

Which parts of IoD membership do you value most?

The network, the policy thinking and the ability to engage with directors who are building tangible results. I value anything that sharpens delivery and drives value.

How would you describe your branch area to a total stranger?

The Kent branch is commercially active, enterprise-minded and full of people who are actually building. That makes the conversations more useful and the connections more relevant.

What is the most important issue for the government to tackle?

Project delivery. We don’t lack ideas or funding, we need infrastructure that ensures public initiatives are delivered well, measured properly, and built to last.

What do you hope to be doing in 10 years’ time?

Still leading high-value portfolios, still delivering results, and still helping organisations build better, faster, and with less waste.
