IoD launches search for Highlands and Islands branch chair

The Institute of Directors is seeking a new chair to become the voice of business for Highlands and Islands.

The IoD is a membership community for directors that provides professional development, valuable connections and an influential lobbying voice.

IoD Highlands and Islands branch membership includes a wide range of industries and is present across the geography of the region.

The successful candidate will support the IoD’s commitment to create better directors. They will focus on building inclusion, diversity and the highest standards of corporate governance while attracting new members to the Institute.

The voluntary position for a three-year term is open to IoD members who live or work in the Highlands and Islands. Applicants must have a demonstrable track record in board or equivalent roles with established business interests and a strong network of contacts.

IoD members range from start-up entrepreneurs to directors of large SMEs and international companies, as well as the public and third sectors.
