Institute of Directors Northern Ireland begin search for new Nations Chair
The Institute of Directors is seeking a new chair to become the voice of business leaders in Northern Ireland.
The IoD is a thriving membership organisation for directors and senior business leaders, providing professional development, valuable connections and an influential voice on the issues that matter most to business.
IoD Northern Ireland has more than 800 members representing a diverse range of sectors and industries. Our membership includes start-up entrepreneurs, directors of SMEs, leaders of international companies, and representatives from the public and third sectors.
As Chair, you will play a key role in supporting the IoD’s mission to create better directors and better businesses. You will provide strategic leadership for the Northern Ireland branch, champion high standards of corporate governance, and promote IoD’s Chartered Director journey. Acting as an ambassador for the organisation, you will represent IoD Northern Ireland at key events, engage with influential stakeholders and help shape the future direction of IoD Northern Ireland.
This role requires a strategic and collaborative leader with a passion for business, governance and leadership. The successful candidate will focus on growing membership, strengthening engagement across the IoD community and serving as a credible and influential voice for business leaders in Northern Ireland.
The position is voluntary and offered for a three-year term. Applications are invited from IoD members who live and work in Northern Ireland.
