2024 IoD Women’s Leadership Scholarships

Increasing the representation of women on boards and leadership teams isn’t just important for the opportunities it provides for women; it’s also important for business. It’s well known that, internationally, the businesses that are the most gender-balanced are also the best performing, and this should come as no surprise. IoD in Northern Ireland is passionate about playing our part to ensure that we can capitalise on this diversity dividend.   We are proud to announce a new scholarship programme to support 5 female leaders in Northern Ireland. The scholarships on offer are: IoD’s Role of the Non-Executive Director course or IoD’s Certificate in Company Direction qualification.

After a competitive application process we are delighted to announce the successful candidates for 2024 IoD NI scholarship programme:

Cara O’Kane – Financial Director, RiverRidge
Nicola Mallon – Head of Trade & Devolved Policy at Logistics UK
Frances Hill – Bank of England Agent for Northern Ireland
Antoinette Bradley – Head of Operations & ESG, Aflac NI
Nikki Molloy – Chief Executive at Abbeyfield Belfast Society

We look forward to welcoming you to courses in the autumn and are excited to see where the IoD scholarship programme takes you.
