Members benefit from successful events programme
IoD Manchester is launching its 2025 events programme on 27 March with a focus on the Greater Manchester Business Growth Hub (BGH) and the support provided to SMEs.
The event will hear from SME business leaders who will outline the challenges their directors faced, the practical support they received from the BGH and its positive impact on their businesses.
BGH advisors will also be on hand to explore with members how business support can work for them.

Business Breakfast with Mayor Andy Burnham, Salford Quays
Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham joined us at The Lowry theatre to discuss devolution and its benefits for business. The breakfast briefing provided members with a fantastic opportunity to be front and centre of the debate and help shape the future of Greater Manchester. Networking at Vertu Jaguar Land Rover, Bolton
This breakfast event took place in the showroom at the company’s Bolton site, providing members and non-members with the opportunity to network with each other. Attendees learned about Jaguar Land Rover’s plans for the future including insights into its electric vehicles.
Navigating the AI landscape, Manchester
Held at the Midland Hotel, this event walked attendees through the Al landscape, with panellists sharing their knowledge and best practices and providing insight into their own experiences and market trends. Part of the IoD’s Better Director Series, the event attracted high praise from attendees with one saying: ‘What a great session that truly provided the audience with some key insights into the rise of the AI revolution’.
