The best of 2024!
Thank you to all members for another fantastic year of IoD engagement!
With membership currently over 370, a new milestone for IoD Isle of Man, we can look forward to building our local presence further in 2025.
Alongside our regular ‘Connect’ and ‘Develop’ schedule of events, we will continue to champion ‘Influence’ via the local Policy Voice survey and extend channels of communication with Government.
The return of IoD accredited courses to the Island in September was a triumph. We were delighted to support nine delegates in completing the intensive week-long course at the Comis Hotel. We will be hosting the Accelerated Certificate in Company Direction in May 2025 and will share further details soon.
With the support of our branch sponsor, Lloyds Bank International we have been able to host 15 local events. We are delighted that engagement with Lloyds Bank International will continue into 2025.
Support from across the business sector is vital to IoD Isle of Man continuation and growth, and on that note, we thank all sponsors for their participation and contributions for the 2024 Director of the Year Awards.
2025 sees a new approach to sponsorship. There will be opportunities for the business community to connect with IoD Isle of Man and engage in a series of new style events.
We have raised funds for several local charities during the year including Love Tech (International Women’s Day), Forget Me Not (Awards) and The Food Bank (Food and Wine Tasting) – thank you to local companies and businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes and to you for contributing on each occasion.
The event calendar is starting to take shape for 2025 and we look forward to welcoming you!
Remember IoD membership is open to all, not just directors, with opportunities to network, develop and have your say on matters of significance to the Isle of Man and its economy.
