Meet the 2024 Director of the Year Awards Judging Panel

Andy McLarney  Director Crowe Isle of Man LLC/Crowe Trust Limited

Andy has over 30 years’ experience as an accountant in the IOM financial sector after moving from the UK in 1994.

Andy gained his accountancy and Audit experience with BDO, he then joined the Whitebridge Group and oversaw the development of the audit, fiduciary and accounting business for over 17 years. During this time Andy has developed significant advisory experience specifically in trading companies and property investment structures.

Andy joined Crowe Isle of Man LLC in July 2014 as part of the Whitebridge Group Acquisition.

Anna Mazzilli Head of Compliance and MRLO Atla Group

Anna is an experienced Chartered Director, Chartered Compliance Professional and Management Consultant with over 35 years experience in the financial services industry.

Anna held an MD position for over 20 years and sat on the Board of Grant Thornton (Isle of Man) between 2006 and 2012.  With a strong entrepreneurship and a proven track record in delivering successful outcomes for her clients, Anna is able to apply extensive experience across numerous sectors to deliver a first-class service.

Anna is a Chartered Director and Fellow of the Institute of Directors. She holds diplomas in Compliance and Anti -Money Laundering from the International Compliance Association and has been a Fellow since 2008. Anna is also a full member of STEP ( TEP)

Catriona Watt, Chief Executive Officer PDMS 

Catriona took over as Chief Executive Officer in early 2024. She joined the PDMS team in 2008 and has held a number of roles across the organisation giving her an in-depth knowledge of the business, particularly the commercial side having held the role of Chief Commercial Officer for a number of years.

She holds a certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (IoD) and won the IoD Young Director of the Year Award in 2022.

When not in work Catriona enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She holds a BSc (Hons) from Liverpool University and an MSc from Heriot-Watt University.

Findlay Macleod, Managing Director Isle of Man Creamery

Findlay has a degree in Marketing and Economics and is a Chartered Director.

Leading the Creamery for over 20 years, Findlay has driven the expansion of export sales into multiple international markets including the US and Europe.

Findlay is the proud father of two sons, and in his spare time is a keen cyclist

Guy Templer Non Executive Director and Chair Junior Achievement

After serving as Chief Operating Officer of the Stars Group and then Chief Integration Officer at Flutter Entertainment, Guy has developed a portfolio of Board Director roles, including for Games Global and for the Isle of Man’s Cabinet Office.

Besides his non-exec positions, Guy is the Chair of Junior Achievement on the island and runs an expanding property development and investment business

Tom Brook, Partner Appleby

Tom Brook is Partner within the Corporate department at Appleby Isle of Man and specialises in advising clients on a wide range of debt finance, equity finance, M&A, and restructuring transactions.

Tom spent seven years in the banking and finance teams of two UK based international law firms before moving offshore and joining Appleby in 2011. Tom has experience of advising on domestic and cross-border debt finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and corporate governance issues. His clients include onshore law firms, international financial institutions, listed and private companies and high net worth individuals.
