IoD appoints Thomas Mizon to Hertfordshire team
The Institute of Directors (IoD) has boosted its presence in Hertfordshire with the appointment of Thomas Mizon as a branch ambassador.
Thomas is Director of Operations at business consultancy Realm Partners where he manages day-to-day operations, compliance, quality assurance and client engagement as well as driving the strategy and financial performance of the business.
Thomas has completed the IoD’s Certificate in Company Direction and has been appointed Young Ambassador for the Hertfordshire branch.
IoD ambassadors ensure that everything the Institute does places directors first. They enable greater connectivity, create influence and drive professional development opportunities while giving a local voice to the Institute.
Thomas said: “I am passionate about collaboration and sharing ideas with the wider local and regional business community. By taking on the Young Director Ambassador role, I aim to embody the ethos of the IoD, by connecting, supporting and offering guidance and expertise to members both current and future.”
Newly-appointed Hertfordshire branch chair James Keeling said: “Thomas is a great addition to our team. His passion for business and enthusiasm to support up and coming young directors will be an asset to members.
“We remain on the lookout for more ambassadors to help us represent and inspire directors in Hertfordshire. If you are passionate about business and keen to build your profile, please get in touch.”
The IoD has secured vital support for directors during the pandemic, including financial assistance for wage bills and changes to insolvency rules.
