IoD seeks ambassadors for Lincolnshire and Rutland branch

IoD seeks ambassadors for Lincolnshire and Rutland branch

The Institute of Directors (IoD) in the East Midlands is seeking new ambassadors for its Lincolnshire and Rutland branch.

IoD ambassadors are leading figures in the business community, each representing a specific industry. They drive greater connectivity with members, support learning and development and give a local voice to the Institute, while ensuring that IoD national policy reflects local issues.

The Lincolnshire and Rutland branch’s ambassadors include those with backgrounds in skills and education, health, construction and engineering, and professional services.

The branch is now looking for more ambassadors to join its committee with an interest in logistics and/or agrifood. It is also seeking an ambassador to champion the IoD’s Chartered Director programme – one of the highest qualifications available to directors.

Branch chair Michelle Allison said: “Our branch committee and ambassador network support members across a broad range of sectors. We are keen to add to this valuable and proactive group of professionals and are seeking other business leaders to support members in sectors of relevance to our local economy.”

If you are an IoD member in Lincolnshire and Rutland and are interested in becoming an ambassador, please get in touch with East Midlands branch manager Cari Grice – [email protected]
