Ambassadors from both groups will be present to liaise with those in attendance to provide more insight on, how to make the most of your membership, group initiatives and future opportunities across both sectors.

Emerging NEDs group mission:We believe in a world where anyone with sufficient professional experience, regardless of their background or protected characteristics, is able to embark on a board-level path of their choice

The IoD Emerging NEDs Special Interest Group is on a mission to increase board representation in the UK. We aim to identify, inspire, develop and place talented professionals from diverse backgrounds onto boards across a range of sectors, from charities through to FTSE 250 companies.

Marcomms mission:Our goal is to provide members with an active and vibrant community where we will share knowledge and enable a greater appreciation for the discipline and its ability to build business, reputation and achieve success.Marketing Communications as a sector makes a significant contribution to the UK economy. It includes marketing, public relations, communications, advertising, branding, design and digital and according to Marketing Week, it has become the fastest growing function on company boards.
