Speakers
Dr. Annalisa Jenkins OBE
Dr Annalisa Jenkins OBE is an internationally recognised leader with over 30 years’ experience across clinical medicine, biotechnology and global healthcare. She has held senior roles at Merck Serono and Bristol Myers Squibb, and was CEO of Dimension Therapeutics, leading the company through its NASDAQ IPO and acquisition. A board member, investor and Honorary Professor, she was awarded an OBE in 2025 for services to life sciences.
George Freeman FRSA MP
George Freeman FRSA MP was elected to Parliament in 2010 following a 15-year career in technology venture capital. He has held a series of senior Science and Technology Ministerial roles under four Prime Ministers, including UK Minister for Life Sciences, where he led the UK Life Sciences Industrial Strategy. His work focuses on shaping the UK’s industrial strategy across areas such as engineering biology, quantum technologies, fusion and space.
Ian Dalton, Chair of Health and Life Sciences SIG
Ian is the Chair of the new Health and Life Sciences SIG. With over 15 years in the sector, he has held numerous senior roles, including the UKs Medicines Agency (the MHRA), the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, European Commission, United Nations and World Health Organisation. During COVID-19, he chaired the WHOs Response Committee for Pharmaceuticals and Diagnostics. He is currently a Board Member of Unitaid and an Adviser to the WHO on regional health product manufacturing.
Professor Chris Molloy
Professor Chris Molloy has more than 30 years’ international board and executive experience across life sciences research, development and commercialisation. Formerly founding CEO of Medicines Discovery Catapult, he played a central role in strengthening the UK’s drug discovery ecosystem and national pandemic response initiatives, including the Lighthouse Labs Network. Appointed CEO of the BioIndustry Association in 2026, he holds several advisory and trustee roles across the sector.
