IoD NI & Carson McDowell Director Bootcamp

This session is designed for Directors across all sectors—including private, social enterprise, charity, and public organisations. It is particularly suited to newly appointed Directors, those preparing to join a board, or experienced Directors who wish to refresh and strengthen their understanding of their responsibilities.

The programme will be delivered in an informal, engaging format through a series of “masterclass” sessions led by experienced directors and legal experts. Drawing on their own professional journeys, they will share practical insights and real-world examples to help demystify the rules of responsible directorship and support participants in becoming more effective in their roles.

This masterclass will be followed by a panel discussion featuring legal experts and Chartered Directors. This interactive session will bring key scenarios to life, offering practical interpretations and accessible guidance to help participants confidently navigate their duties.
