IoD Economic Policy and Trends Working Group
The IoD Economic Policy and Trends (EPT) Working Group is an initiative led by our Chief Economist Anna Leach designed to strengthen the IoD's role as a bridge between policymakers and business leaders in the UK.
The Group's primary purpose is to provide the policy team with expert insight and feedback on current economic issues and trends that affect UK businesses.
Key Objectives:
The Group will serve as a valuable platform for members to discuss their priorities and concerns regarding economic policy. Key objectives include informing the company's policy positions, sharing intelligence on business performance and economic trends, and engaging in peer-to-peer learning. The group will also provide a space to react to recent policy developments and share views on future priorities.
Meeting Details:
Meetings are scheduled to take place approximately three times a year.
All meetings will be held under Chatham House rules and any information shared will be used in an anonymised fashion to inform the company's policy and advocacy work, unless explicit permission is given otherwise.
By booking a place and joining this session and any future sessions, you agree to abide by the terms of reference. If you have any questions, email Anna Leach at [email protected].
