Speakers

Danny Westwood

Danny is the current Cyber Protect and Prevent Officer in Lincolnshire Police. Danny provides engagement and education to partners and the public around Cyber awareness and protection.

His Presentation will discuss: “A session discussing the expanding threat of cyber dependant crime, specifically cyber-attacks such as phishing and ransomware. We will also discuss ways to protect ourselves form the everchanging threats, including password and system security. This session is designed to make you aware of the current threats but still have confidence to use technology in your personal and professional life”

Mike Billam

Mike Billam has been a Police Officer for over 20 years with 12 years previous experience within the banking industry. He has worked in the Economic Crime Unit for 12 years, 7 of which he was the Detective Sergeant. The ECU undertake Proceeds of Crime work to deny assets to criminals such as confiscation on those who are convicted as well as the forfeuiture of cash and bank accounts where criminal cases are not progressed. Mike Billam also has the role of being the single point of contact for election fraud/malpractice reports that come in to the force and any subsequent investigation.
