Nathalie Agnew CDir
Managing Director, Muckle Media
Nathalie has acquired two competitive businesses in the past eight years, successfully integrating both into Muckle Media. In 2015 Nathalie acquired Platform PR from Scottish PR veteran Jane Cumming and in 2022 Nathalie acquired Taste communications from broadcaster Stephen Jardine.
A reputation and communications specialist, Nathalie Agnew launched Muckle Media in 2012 following a long career supporting some of the world’s biggest brands for London agencies. She has significant experience across many sectors and has led her team at Muckle Media Group to win numerous awards in recent years, the most notable being the CIPR Scotland PRide Outstanding PR Consultancy award in 2023 and the PRCA DARE Large Agency of the Year in 2021. Nathalie also led the agency to become the first B-Corp PR agency in Scotland.
Nathalie is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and a member of the PRCA and the Marketing Society. She also chairs the Institute of Directors Edinburgh and Lothians branch and co-chairs the Wellbeing Economy sub-group of the Scottish Government’s New Deal for Business advisory group.
Sheelagh Duffield
Sheelagh Duffield is a corporate governance specialist advising clients on best practice governance and providing independent board evaluation services. Before setting up her own business Sheelagh held senior executive roles within the corporate departments of Scottish Power plc; Scottish Television plc and The Miller Group Limited at times when these businesses were delivering extensive strategic and organisational change. Sheelagh is a non-executive director with The National Theatre of Scotland and a member of its Finance Committee. She is also a non-executive director with Cricket Scotland where she Chairs the Risk Committee. She was a Trustee Director with Capability Scotland for five years.
