Harnessing the Power of DEI Data

Learn the value of collecting, measuring and acting upon DEI data for empowering SMEs

Sponsored by The Clear Company

Despite clear enthusiasm for, and understanding of diversity and inclusion, the UK’s SMEs are being let down by a lack of guidance and resources. This event will explore the importance of this data, how to go about gathering it and your action plan for success.

The DEI data available to you about your small business holds a wealth of information. From revealing roadblocks to your business levelling up, to understanding the profile of candidates applying for and joining your organisation, valuable insights can be uncovered about your diversity and inclusion maturity level. More broadly, this data is also becoming more valuable to the major organisations in your sectors and networks: in meeting the demands of your regulators, the key players in your supply chain, and the government initiatives coming into force (such as Scotland’s Fair Work Action Plan).All this begs the question: if you know the importance, how do you go about getting your hands on all this data?Jenny Hinde, Director at the Clear Company will provide an exclusive demo of a new online data collection tool, designed specifically for SMEs to simplify and elevate this process (and which will be on offer to members at a discounted rate). Jenny has extensive experience guiding organisations of all sizes through their diversity and inclusion journeys, especially in capturing and using data to inform progress and upskilling SME leaders to create high performing teams.Your key take-aways for this event will be:

  • How collecting and acting on DEI data contributes to your business performance;
  • Why data around inclusion is as powerful as data on diversity;
  • How to successfully engage your teams in sharing DEI data – avoiding the pitfalls;
  • Effective communications when collecting DEI data in SME organisations;
  • Tools and top tips to support DEI data collection.
