Earlier this year we were delighted to partner with the IoD Property & Built Environment group on a collaborative event at Lloyd’s of London, discussing risk and sustainability in the Property sector. Members and guests were treated to in-depth discussion on this topic from guest speakers including Dr Jane Toothill of JBA Risk Management. In relation to this event, Dr Toothill has written the following article considering the challenge of climate change exacerbating flood risk in the UK, and how we need to think about protecting existing building stock as well as planning more effectively for the future.
