Africa Group

The IoD Africa Group is a national community of IoD members who are interested in or already doing business in Africa.

As a Group, we aim to:

Connect members by stimulating business opportunities, increasing business networking, and growing awareness of the IoD brand and British businesses across a continent of 1.2bn potential customers and 24 Anglophone countries.

Develop members by providing the opportunity to improve their knowledge, skills and mindset about doing business in Africa.

Share members’ views to government and influence the wider African business community by promoting the study, research and development of the law and practice of corporate governance, and to share findings.

Offer members access to Africa SIG events, webinars, seminars, roadshows, conferences, negotiated offers and information to connect, develop, and influence.
