Gavin Dingley
Gavin is a commercial and public law barrister at the self-employed Bar. He acts as an advocate and advises in all aspects of immigration, asylum, nationality and EU law.
He has particular expertise in Business Immigration and cases where the Home Office is looking to impose a civil penalty for illegal working or where employers are looking to securing effective solutions for sponsor licence applications.
He brings a unique perspective as he is regularly instructed by the Government Legal Department and the Home Office to act on their behalf. He also provides ad-hoc training to other immigration lawyers through specialised Business Immigration Seminars with MBL
Further, Gavin’s Business Immigration expertise involves advising and representing clients on the Tier 1 entrepreneur, investor and graduate entrepreneur regime. In addition, Gavin assists those looking to apply for visas under the ICT, Sole Representative, Start-up and Innovator routes. More recently, Gavin has advised businesses and individuals on the EU Settlement Scheme, the new Tier 4, Tier 5 and Skilled Worker routes to ensure that employers can remain compliant in the post-Brexit era.
