We surveyed 876 members in July.
Policy Voice is one of the IoD’s most valuable tools. Our monthly survey asks members to feedback their views on a broad range of UK policy developments such as net zero planning, the corporate governance code, industrial strategy, the trading relationship with the EU, and a series of economic monitoring questions.
The results we collect are both statistical and anecdotal and form the basis of everything we ask for from government. They are crucial to our understanding of our members’ attitudes to policy changes and developments, and the government frequently requests access to the results of our surveys as a valuable insight into business sentiment.
July’s survey primarily contributed to our consultation response to the Financial Reporting Council in respect of proposed changes to the UK Corporate Governance Code. We also produced UK ‘Corporate Governance Code – what changes have been proposed and do they go far enough?’ and hosted a webinar under the same name, looking at some of the key changes to the Code and what our expert panel had to say about it.
