Director of the Year Awards 2024 (England) - Winners

Winners announced in national Director of the Year Awards

We are delighted to announce the winners of our national Director of the Year Awards 2024.

Covering the whole of England, the awards showcase and celebrate the leadership, achievements and contributions of business leaders across a range of categories from Sustainability to Innovation and Chartered Director.

This year we welcomed over 170 guests from across the country to the Grand Hotel, Birmingham, to celebrate the successes of our director community. Hosted by our very own Greater Birmingham Branch Chair Andy Wilkinson and presenter of BBC Midlands Nicola Beckford, it was a superb day of networking and festivities.

A huge thank you to our headline sponsor for the awards, University College Birmingham: UCB focuses on providing career-focused education to its students, allowing them to follow their passion while learning key industry skills needed by today’s employers.

On the day, the IoD hosted a silent auction in aid of local charity, Kids Village: Kids Village offers the UK’s first respite holiday village for children with critical illness. Almost £2000 was raised on the day to support this worthy cause.

“This year’s nominees have showcased exemplary governance practices, provided steadfast support for their employees, and represented their local markets and communities through innovative business strategies. These qualities are vital for our nation’s growth, and by continuing to recognise these leaders, we collectively enhance England’s reputation as a hub for business, work and living.”
Jonathan Geldart,
Director General, Institute of Directors
