Response to Ofgem consultation on non-domestic energy market review
The Institute of Directors has responded to Ofgem’s consultation on its non-domestic energy market review.
Ofgem has identified and prioritised several key areas of consumer harm. It has developed a package of proposed policy measures to address these harms.
The IoD has received numerous reports from members of the non-domestic market not functioning adequately. We believe that some of the policy changes suggested in this consultation have the potential to create a non-domestic market which better meets business’ needs, most importantly by improving businesses’ access to redress.
