Restricted access to 116 Pall Mall
We have been informed by Westminster Council that the area around 116 Pall Mall is anticipated to see 3 million additional visitors in the coming days, as people pay their respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Whilst 116 Pall Mall will remain open to members, this is likely to cause significant disruption and access to Pall Mall and 116 itself may be severely restricted. With this in mind, we are recommending that all members and visitors avoid visiting the venue where possible until after the State Funeral on Monday 19th September. Please note that the building will be completely closed on Monday 19th September for the State Funeral itself.
This is a fluid situation and we will continue to engage with Westminster Council on the security arrangements.
